Street Graffiti – Movie Geek Style
Officially Cool By Brian C. Gibson on August 15, 2008 | (10) CommentsThis is clearly one of those art-imitating-art type situations going on here. This is also another piece of evidence that hoodlums and criminals aren’t the ones defacing public property, it is movie geeks and very creative artists. I have always been drawn by graffiti, I’m one of those people who see it as art. So why not take an art form and transplant it into another form of iconography? I really love the bathroom stall graffiti from Donnie Darko, and the slightly more intimidating Hitchcock. These are my personal favorites, but you can check out more by following the link to Slashfilm at the bottom.
