Officially Cool: Watchmen Action Figures
Officially Cool By Neil Miller on April 16, 2008 | (2) Comments
The fine folks over at EW have scored a pretty cool first look at the action figures from the upcoming DC comic adaptation Watchmen, which is directed by 300‘s Zack Snyder. The film may not hit theaters until March 6, 2009, but we’ve already begun to see some cool stuff come out of the production, such as character photos and a production video journal.
These action figures (seen above), look pretty slick. In fact, they appear to be based more on the original graphic novel by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons than they do on Zack Snyder’s cinematic designs, but maybe that is just me.
DC Direct will unveil four of these cool Watchmen collectibles at this weekend’s New York Comic-Con, so stay tuned as we will bring you more looks as they become available.
