Officially Cool: Watch The Theatrical Version of Grindhouse In HD
Posted by Brian C. Gibson (brian@filmschoolrejects.com) on March 31, 2008

If you were one of the lucky people to catch Grindhouse in the theater, you know you were witness to an amazing double feature experience. If you were one of the un-lucky people to say “Nah, I’ll wait for DVD”, you know that you were dealt the misfortune of two DVD releases and no special treats. Thanks to Starz though, now you can watch the full Theatrical version of Grindhouse in HD.
Starting tonight March 31 at 9 p.m. Starz will start to show the full 3 hour and 15 minute version of Grindhouse, complete with fake trailers and commercials. I was an early bird though, they showed it at 12:45 a.m. today, and I already have it on my DVR. Thanks to Hollywood, we are stuck watching this one on our DVRs…until of course we get an ultimate collector’s edition.

Wasn’t there supposed to be a super edition of Kill Bill edited together? That didn’t go anywhere.

For those without HD and who wish to see it all with the trailers and everything TMN (at least in Canada) plays it that way and has for all of March.
