Officially Cool: Star Wars Character Flash Drives

Posted by Neil Miller (neil@filmschoolrejects.com) on December 3, 2007

My search for the coolest movie and geek related items on the web never seems to be over. In fact, if I could sit around all day with my ole’ buddy Google and just scour the web for this stuff for the rest of my days, I’d be a happy guy. From time to time though, I find something that is as unique as it is fun, something that defines what this column is all about — something that epitomizes what it means to be “Officially Cool”. Today I have found such a thing, my friends. And I would like to share it with you.

A long-time reader of the site pointed me in the direction of a company Mimoco that produces designer USB flash drives, and their new line is something that can only be described as being “From a Galaxy far, far away.” Seen in the pictures below, these Star Wars character flash drives are probably bring to life your favorite characters from the greatest movie franchise of all time. So then, would it be safe to say that these could be the greatest flash drives of all-time? I think so. Take a look below.

Princess Leia

Luke Skywalker

Han Solo

Boba Fett

Darth Vader

Chewbacca

Storm Trooper

R2-D2

The Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Boba Fett drives are currently available for pre-order, while the Darth, Chewy, Stormtrooper and R2-D2 drives are all currently for sale. You can visit Mimobot’s site here for more details.
