I can’t explain it, but I love Minimates. They are fun and creative. Since this the blockbuster movie season is about to kick off, and Speed Racer is just around the corner, I thought I’d show off these Speed Racer Minimates.

For those who aren’t familiar with Minimates, the figures are usually about the length of your thumb (2″) and really cool. This Minimate happens to come with Speed’s car, the Mach 5. I know that at least for me, all of these cool little collectibles and nostalgia are just getting me more excited for the film. Until then, we can gawk at fun little toys like these.
