Officially Cool: Gina Gershon as Sarah Palin

Officially Cool

We don’t like to get too political here on FSR, at least I don’t think so. It is hard though when Sarah Palin is just such an easy target for reporters, critics and actors. She is taking it from all angles…and just wait til she’s in the White House, heyo. Here is a video, actually submitted by Gina Gershon herself, depicting the Alaskan governor at her best.

If you have any suggestions for our Officially Cool feature, please send an email over to Brian@filmschoolrejects.com.

  • Gina Gerson is hot but that was just really, really, terribly unfunny. I hated it until the bikini shot.

Robert Fure, you've made it very clear on several occasions that you're a die-hard Republican, but that doesn't mean you can't find *some* humor in this segment.
  • @ Komikon, there has to be humor in the video before Fure (or anyone) can find it.

    @ Rob Hunter:

Look at the McCain squad in action...

It just wasn't funny, like Rob said. I found a few laughs in the SNL skit with Tina Fey, notably "I can see Russia from my house!"

If something is funny, I laugh. If it is not, I don't. Simple.

The truth is that this wasn't funny at all. I completely agree with you. The Tina Fey fit also wasn't very funny... at all. But the fact that you bothered to write your initial comment and the fact that you bothered to ignore my tongue-in-cheek follow-up accusations of being a Republican tells the world that you really are dirty, little Republicans.
  • I am a Conservative and want smaller government across the board and more personal responsibility (Some people are calling this "Libertarianism" these days, but I don't agree with all of those positions.) I lean right on a lot of issues and when I turned 18 I registered as a Republican. I don't think that's dirty or shameful, nor am I little. I'm average height! As for anyone else on this site, I wouldn't think to speak for them, nor believe their affiliation, or anyone elses, is relevant or of concern. As long as someone weighs the issues that are important to them and makes an informed vote, they should vote for who they want.

I try to keep politics out of my FSR writings, though it does come through in comments sometimes. Regardless of party affiliation, at least we agree that this bit was stupid. Though I continue to maintain Gina Gershon still looks good in a bikini. And that's that. =)
  • fure battle royal !

    ( i agree wasn't funny)

Fure, I admire you for retorting with class! I meant everything to be light-hearted :) Although, you're still dirty and little...
