Must See: First Look at Kevin Smith’s Batman: Cacophony

Batman: Cacophony

Kevin Smith has revealed some full color pages from his upcoming comic series “Batman: Cacophony,” which he has been working on with his good friend, artist Walter Flanagan. Many of you may recall Walt as the ‘fanboy’ from Mallrats — “Tell ‘em, Steve Dave.”

Cacophony will be a three part series that takes us back to Gotham City, where a mysterious masked killer known as Onomatopoeia has returned to set his sights — and sounds — on the Caped Crusader. The first run of the comic goes on sale November 12, and can be picked up via the Secret Stash.

Check out the full pages below, courtesy of Kevin Smith’s MySpace Blog.

I have a feeling that both Fanboy and Steve-Dave would be proud of what Mr. Smith and Mr. Flanagan have created.

What do you think about the look of Batman: Cacophony?

Not Deadshot! Just when I was really starting to like that guy!

Lets hope Mr. Smith's monthly's stay true to their word.

Also, wasn't this Onomatopoeia guy a villain on Batman: Beyond? He sure looks like one of the villains from that.

Interesting. I'll go pick it up. Any excuse to go to a comic book store.

So if the first issue comes out in November, can we expect the second issue next July? And the third issue to get here in 2012, or get cancelled altogether?

Sorry, Mr Smith. I love ya and all, but you've let me down too often. I'll wait for the trade.
