The Joker Has Gone MAD, Seriously

DC Comics has hooked our good friends over at /Film up with an awesome first look at the upcoming cover of MAD magazine, which is due to hit stores on December 16th. It is all part of their yearly issue dedicated to the dumbest things that have happened in the past year, including people, events and things. Thankfully, inside sources are reporting that none of the Rejects made the list this year. We would not want a repeat of the great Kevin Carr incident of ‘99. And that’s all I’m saying, if you want details you are going to have to email him.

As for the cover, it looks pretty slick with its “Why So Stupid?” tagline. Clever. I would expect nothing less from MAD magazine, the last bastion of Madness now that MADtv has been cancelled. Just click on the image above to see the full cover.

  • "the last bastion of Madness" will be my alt-rock band name.
  • I know!! I used to like them but now they're running out of ideas and the jokes are flat. But I still love Bobby Lee dressin up like Connie Chung and Michelle Kwan.
  • LOL!! Good idea.
  • Ahh MAD magazine. I haven't looked at one in 15 years and I bet they have some of the same content as when I was 10 years old.
  • MADtv was canceled? About time!
