Zack and Miri Get it on in a Green Band Trailer

Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks in Zack and Miri Make a Porno

It seems like every form of advertising Kevin Smith puts out lately gets shot down, but now Zack And Miri Make A Porno has a green band trailer, and there isn’t shit the MPAA can do about it.

The lovely ladies and gents over at Yahoo! Movies bring us a toned down trailer of Kevin Smith’s upcoming film. Check it out:

I have to give it up to Smith for making the porn Zack and Miri attempt to make based off Star Wars. It oddly enough reminds me of a short film my college friends and I joked about making called The Phantom Penis. We eventually decided it’d be a bad idea given the negative reviews Jar Jar Boinks would have received. But keep your eyes open, there’s always hope for Attack of the Bones and Revenge of the Dicks. And that concludes my attempt to turn this into a red band editorial.

Smith will be premiering Zack And Miri Make A Porno at Austin’s Fantastic Fest, and with any luck you can check out FSR for some excellent coverage of the premiere.

What are your thoughts on the Zack and Miri green band trailer? What’s you favorite Kevin Smith film?

  • "Star Whores" isn't very original.
  • To be fair, the reason the MPAA can't do shit about it is that they already approved that trailer. =\

Alright looking I expect nothing but gold with Smith, but after Pineapple Express this might be the funniest senses in the movie..hopefully not though.
  • Wow! It looks better than I ever could have imagined! I've loved most of Kevin Smith films with the exceptions of Mall Rats (too juvenile) and Jersey Girl (very good, but not Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back great). My favorite Kevin Smith film is Chasing Amy.
