Watch the first season of That 70s Show… the kids were all the same age as their characters, more or less… they look rediculously young.

Also, I think the original cast of High School Musical were all their characters' ages (except for Monique Coleman) when the first movie was made.

I was very suprised on how Zac Efron held his own in this movie and I wouldn't be shocked if he became a household name in the future.
