I will add in my 5 cents here. Liked the movie a lot, especially Jackie Earle Haleys portrayal of Rorschach which in my opinon was dead on. Was surprised to see that they showed a lot of the big blue naked guy. Have to agree with most here that the music selections were distracting at times. Some fit but most were not right for the scene they were chosen.

I do beleive that the final scene with the squid should have been included and given 5 minutes of set up time to show Oz's genetic manipulations.

All in all the actors did a good job in the roles they were cast. Sorry to all the Malin haters out there but I found her acting up to par, not to mention she looked good in and out of her costume.

I completely enjoyed the movie and didn't hate anything, but had some trouble with the music. Even the songs that fit alright with the scenes the volume was too loud, so it took me out of the movie just a little bit. I think its a fair adaptation of the movie but the comic is still loads better, which is to be expected.

I'm agreeing with the misplacement of Hallelujah and 99 Red Balloons the songs were terribly distracting and unnecessary, but I was fine with the others. All Along the Watch Tower felt too easy...another song or hm, just a good old fashion score piece would have worked better.

I totally agree. I can swallow down 'The Times Are A Changin' but Hallelujah? Im starting to think Robert Fure's review was inaccurate when he said 'This is the best Watchmen film anyone could have made' Because I was alittle more disappointed than please with this.

I watched Watchmen yesterday. Great movie. It was REALLY long though. But hey it was still awesome. Im happy that everyone agreed that Rorschach was totally badass. What did I see when Dr Manhattan made Rorschach into an actual Rorschach on the snow? Snow Angel. People said they changed the ending a bit but its exactly the same thing with the same result. But there is two major things I hated. The actress who played Sally Jupiter was HORRIBLE. She was God awful. I just cant believe she was in the movie. Whos crotch did she grind to get that part? But the actress who played Silk Spectre 2 was pretty good despite what some people are saying. And the music. I dont think Alan Moore was listening to Hallelujah or Hendrix while writing Watchmen. But they had some songs that fit in pretty nicely. Thats my review.

I had way too much to say about this movie. So, I just wrote my "Review" on my blog.

Long story short. It was great. Maybe only okay based on the source material, but a great movie.

It was interesting, one of my so-far favorite films of 2009, but watching it with your 45-year old mom and 13-year old brother can bring some awkwardness into the mix with the explicit sex and voice (but a bony arm hanging from a ceiling is still f**king awesome!)

The soundtrack was really good minus the awfully done cover of Desolation Row by My Chemical Romance.

The characters and cast was really good and Zack Snyder definitely gets 2 thumbs up from me.

Great movie for any comic book fan. Can get lost if not paying enough attention. So much bouncing around from story to story. I never read the book but looking forward to reading it now. I thought the story was kind of strange , it pulls away from some parts. But over all, i enjoyed. Looking forward to the blu ray! Rorschach...Man You Rocked!
