WGA Strike: Horror Writers Exorcise Strike Demons
Movie News By Maggie Van Ostrand on November 27, 2007 | (2) Comments
New negotiations, two days ongoing at this 11/27 writing, are still a secret, but I CAN tell you what’s been on the news, since it has nothing to do with what’s going on indoors.
Today, Warner Bros. watched as Hollywood horror writers outside the studio walls performed an exorcism in a valiant attempt to bring good writer vibes to the secret negotiations.
Horror writers showed up dressed as everything from a Rabbi, to a nun, a priest, including Hans (Lost Boys 2: The Tribe) Rodionoff, and Don Mancini, who was carrying a namesake red-headed doll from his movie, The Evil Chuckie.
Burning incense from a censer wafted over the strikers. Incense is traditionally prepared from strong-smelling plant material; however, I have no opinion on the contents of this incense, except that everybody was in a very good mood.
