This one should be quick.

Shutter is a remake of an Asian horror film, complete with scary Asian chicks in dimly lit rooms. It’s rated PG-13. It stars Pacey Witter.

I’m not giving Shutter the benefit of the doubt, I know. And I’m okay with that. Stars Rachael Taylor (the other girl in Transformers) and James Kyson Lee (the other Asian in NBC’s Heroes) were at WonderCon to represent the film, but the panel never stood a chance of being interesting or appreciated. Not only was it placed immediately before the X-Files 2 presentation, but it was moderated by some poor sap from 20th Century Fox who felt the need to fill time with incredibly boring questions and comments regarding the history and practice of spirit photography… zzzz. The trailer was generic. The scenes previewed were mind-numbingly lackluster. The thirty minute presentation lasted exactly thirty minutes too long.

Shutter opens March 21st (and most likely closes by March 27th.)
