I think this is the first look of a line of origin movies. First its going to be wolverine. This is just going to introduce Weapon XI/ Deadpool. Thats why the start with Ryan Reynolds. They are going to do a experiment on him to give him all of the mutant powers. Thats when they are going to use Scott Adkin's. Then he is going to fight and get all scared up. Then there goes your second move. Origins of Deadpool. But this is just a guess.

I've seen the leaked movie. Weapon XI is Deadpool. However, since Fox never felt the need to spend the extra coin on the Deadpool name and likeness, Stryker merely refers to Weapon XI as "a dead pool – of mutant abilities." Sadly, we get 2 minutes of Wade time, and about the last 15 minutes of Wolverine and Sabertooth in an action-buddy movie duking it out with Scott Adkin's as the "Merc with No Mouth."

Hopefully we find out that Weapon XI was just a clone of Deadpool. As they cloned Scott Summers laser vision, Wolverines healing factor, etc which may be the real reason behind the facial disfigurement. Otherwise they completely ruined deadpool

I've seen a "leaked" copy of the film. Yes supposedly it is deadpool, as when Wolverine sees his face changed he comments "they finally found a way to shut you up." Overall I thought the movie could be better, some plot points are close to the comic and then all fucked up toward the end, I think some true fans will be pissed. I live down the street from three mile island, and laughed at how innacurate it was, there would be security all over the place if you even got anywhere near the island.

I'm just as angry Fox is again ruining another great Marvel character with Deadpool….having him played by both Adkins and Ryan is too odd for words…why they would mix the two characters into one is beyond laziness…I really hope they have a faithful Deadpool movie to make up for it…I'm still on board if Reynolds sticks with the role

SWEET!!!! Don't you guys ever think that the character might be Mimic? X-men foe who can mimic everyone's powers but if you all said that's Weapon XI then I guess that kinda made sense.

you know there is the possibility they just mislabeled…seriously Adkins is a up and coming action star with an acting background he's not just some stunt guy….he's kind of like Ray Park at this point…he's done films fighting against Jackie Chan , Jet Li and JCVD..I doubt they would give him full credit as Weapon XI without making it a separate role from Deadpool….he may have doubled Ryan but what we haven't talked about is that Weapon XI could be a clone of Deadpool, Cyclops and Wolverine…or just another random mutant experimented on…then given the claws…in the comics Weapon XI was never connected with Deadpool…also how would they have a spin-off with Ryan disfigured his face is his money maker they're not sticking a mask on him for a whole movie…that's just not happening….the mouth thing is also a give away…

Yeah, I don't know what the hell was going on with Gambit either. He makes the cards float with his energy? Wouldn't that defeat the limitations of his powers and make him just be able to charge anything in eye sight and fuck everyone up anywhere ever?

I hope we are just reading way too much into all of this and he has the cards on a string like a street magician or whatever

In summary: Weapon XI is a bullshit looking "Deadpool" that has red marks under his eyes, tattoos, but no scars, with 2 swords shoved into his fists, played by bald Scott Adkins, making us wonder why Ryan Reynolds was even cast as "Deadpool" if he was just Wad Wilson, a member of the team who somehow has his facial structure completely changed and he turns into a different person who is now Scott Adkins. Kill yourself if you were a real fan of Deadpool.

I'm so upset by this – "Sweet Mutant Action?" Poor choice of title, Neil. It should have been "Horrendous Rape of Things We Love."

I also just noticed that the scene before "Deadpool" and Wolverine are on one of the towers, it clearly shows one of TMI's towers collapsing. TMI has 2 generating stations, each one with 2 towers for a total of 4 towers. 1 Generating Station (TMI 2) was shut down permanently after the Three Mile Island accident, meaning 2 of the towers are no longer active. Fun Pennsylvania history.

Found this bit: Hugh Jackman on Deadpool: "The action scenes Ryan has with swords are unbelievable. By the end of the movie, they are definitely foes."

Add that with the information about Deadpool being the ultimate mutant and a battle at Three Mile Island – just take a look at that final screen shot. They're on a giant cooling tower. I used to live near TMI, and the towers are (like most towers) large, gray, and circular. Looking at the area in the background I see the Susquehanna River (where TMI is located) and the banks are wooded, similar to the area in Pennsylvania where TMI is.

So that information would seem to check out meaning Deadpool has been utterly face raped and effectively ruined. If this is some sort of "psych out" advertising, it is the worst idea in the history of advertising.

Also, I too noticed that Gambit isn't THROWING cards, he's shooting them somehow or something. LAME. Why make him borderline telepathic? He's not. Why change Deadpool completely? Just call him fucking Weapon Who Gives a Shit and make him up. Why must they ruin a real character to create some fake bullshit? Might as well have made Spider-Man a big green guy who shot laser beams from his wrists.

Those "claws" he has are probably Deadpool's swords. 99 out of 100 clues points to Deadpool being this stupid piece of shit.

Ok, just watched the trailer. Why is Cyclopes so involved? Why does he look like Matt Murdock? Why is this disgusting piece of trash people are calling Deadpool using his powers? Its not like a comic book were theres thousands and thousands of issues so its easy to screw up the continuity. Theres only been three movies. The storys all right there! How can they f it up? And to think I was so Goddamn excited for this movie. At least I can keep with my faith with Watchmen.
