the perfect person for deadpool would *really* be eric bana, unfortunately he's probably got a bad taste in his mouth after that horrible hulk movie.

don't believe that he's perfect for the role, go watch "chopper", it was his first movie, he gained like 40 pounds for the part and is hilarious one moment disturbingly unhinged the next, he got the part because he was a stand up comic in Aus for years and specialized in voice impersonations.

not to say that in a *real* deadpool movie ryan reynolds couldn't be great, but bana could take the lows lower.

From what i can tell they are to ruin Deadpool in this movie! They turn him into some kind of mind controlled cyborg in it. Seeing as how Deadpool has always been my favorite mutant i am quite p*#@ed off about the whole part of this. I have a feeling seeing this in theaters after knowing this is going to make me hate this movie all together. I do think they had the perfect person to play the part however a bad script for the character from what i have researched.

I can see him play that i mean deadpool has a dark humor about him and ryan usually plays funny parts. having said that….will deadpool's character be the same from the comic to the film?

He’s the PERFECT character for Deadpool! Not only is he funny like the comic character, but he can also be an action star as we’ve seen in Blade 3 (excuse the mention)

Deadpool is ok, but not great, for Ryan. Even though Ray Park is still the best guy for the
stuntmen (with Deadpool’s head being covered and all). But if I have to choose the most
suitable role for Ryan Renolds in x-men it would be Gambit. Of course he has to learn the
French accent but I’m sure it’ll be worth it.
