Public Enemies

Public Enemies barely got left off of our Most Anticipated List for 2009, but just barely. As I recall, the argument of whether to include it lasted long into the night, and, at one point, Neil attacked me with a stapler.

Luckily, I now have more than my stapler scar to remind me to get excited for a film that focuses on the FBI’s growth in power as they hunt down some of American History’s most legendary mobsters – Dillinger and Baby Face Nelson

Check out Depp and Bale for yourself:

Pretty cool stuff. Always nice to see what appear to be self-bandaged gun shot wounds. Obviously with the big names, Public Enemies and director Michael Mann will probably have little trouble getting butts into seats this summer.

What do you think? Excited? Apathetic? Wishing you owned a Tommy Gun?
