It’s official, Will Ferrell is on fire. Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby is almost ready for theaters, and looks hilarious. For those of you who didn’t hear about that film, Ferrel will be playing a Nascar driver. Ferrell is also in pre-production for Old School 2, where he will be playing the legendary Frank “The Tank” Ricard. The most intruiging role of 2006 for Ferrell though is his part in Blades of Glory.
Ferrell will be starring next to Napolean Dynamite, err I mean Jon Heder, in one of his most challenging roles to date. The plot synopsis is as follows from IMDB.com:
In 2002, two rival Olympic ice skaters were stripped of their gold medals and permanently banned from men’s single competition. Presently, however, they’ve found a loophole that will allow them to qualify as a pairs team.
I can’t wait to see Will Ferrell on ice, because he is the funniest man in the Universe without even speaking.
