I've never seen any of Hendricks work but I have see her. She's beautiful and so sexy I wouldn't mind her as Barberella.

I think Christina Hndrix would be a great choice. I think anyone who has seen her turn in Firefly would agree that she can pull it off. She is a good actress, as well as being incredibly hot. lol

To offer a name, what about Rachel Nichols, AKA Shana 'Scarlett' O'Hara in G.I. Joe. She certainly displayed some assets in that film that could be put to good use in Barbarella.

I don't see Christina Hendricks as Barbarella but she's a better fit than the likes of Mila Kunis, Jessica Alba or Lindsay Lohan.

Zoe Saldana is an interesting choice and Scarlett Johansson has the sexuality and somewhat of the right vibe but I don't think she's ideal.

Of the women listed in the article I think Jessica Biel is the best fit but IMO the ideal choice would be Elizabeth Banks. IMO she nails the look and vibe of Barbarella.
