We’ve all been wondering when and where this mysterious trailer for The Dark Knight was going to hit the web. AICN tipped us off to a new viral site that stinks of a trailer debut. ATasteForTheTheatrical.com shows a classifieds clipping from The Gotham Times which features a “Fin High Edition” — an anagram for “High Definition” — trailer for sale. It also announces that you should “Watch this Space” on Sunday. Here is another important quote:

“It’s what you have been waiting for! Sure, you can see it on display, but beginning this Sunday, you can take it home for your very own!”

So there you have it — are you ready to take home the Dark Knight trailer for yourself? It has room for 8 — 28 if they are dismembered. This just continues the single most impressive viral marketing campaign of all-time. It is not just secret trailers, smoke and mirrors (I’m looking at you J.J. Abrams), it is all about exposing this complex and intriguing bad guy known as the Joker piece by piece.

Until Sunday, we will have to either sit tightly and wait or head out to see I Am Legend. Then again, you could watch the “leaked” version below (at least before it gets pulled).
