What Would You Ask the Cast of ‘Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince?’

HarryPotterQuestions

Hey there, Reject Nation. Tomorrow – earlier in the morning than I’d like to believe actually exists – I embark on a flying machine to head for New York City. The purpose of this visit? To steal as many bagels and bring them back down to Texas, a land devoid of a good schmear. The second purpose is to watch Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and interview the pants off of the cast and crew. I totally just gave you a nearly illegal visual, right?

Fantastic.

But, since I’m basically a complete hack when it comes to being insightful (as you’ll know if you read my editorials), I’d like to throw the question out to you.

What would you ask director David Yates, Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Ginny?

Let’s try to keep the spoilers to a minimum, shall we?

In the mean time, be sure to check out the Ultimate Half-Blood Prince photo gallery that we just put up a few days ago. If you print out all the pictures and thumb through them quickly, it’s like watching the actual movie!

Hit me.

I think a good question to ask them is what they plan on doing after they are done with all the Harry Potter movies, since it will be coming to an end in the next few years or so. I think it would be interesting to see weather they will branch of into other movies or take a brake or go into something else. Maybe this question already has an answer somewhere? I'm not to sure but I will think of some other good ones too haha.

Or maybe if this is how they pictured it would be when they first started...
  • Ask Ron what it's like to have Swine Flu. That's hard-hitting journalism at its finest.

Great question Ty15. I really can't think of any questions right now unfortunately. If I do I'll post them here.

Except for having you ask Emma Watson out on a date for me. That would be pretty awesome.

Ask them if the scripts for the final two films are solid. Ask Rupert what it was like filming Driving Lessons with Julie Walters and Laura Linney. Ask Rupert more questions. It seems that he is the one who is always screwed over in interviews.

Definately ask about the scripts for the last two movies, and if there will be a good balance between the two.
Ask them all what song they would want played at their funerals. Ask them who they would most love to punch if given the chance.
Ask Yates why it took so long to get Bill Nighy to join the cast, and who he's going to portray in the final film(s).
Ask them to come up with a ridiculous question and then answer it.
Just don't give us the same boring interview/questions that everyone else gives.
That's mostly what I'd like to see - something I'm not going to see on every other website that interviews any of them.

Ask them how they have managed to not flame out so far. There must be incredible pressure on them, how does their studio help them? David Yates/Older cast members? Emma was being tutored so she could get all A's in school and have a chance to go to Yale, so she's clearly pretty smart. Why haven't Dan/Rupert tried to keep up? Certainly they won't talk publicly about anyone stepping in to help keep them in line, but it might be nice to hear how they keep the mental edge. Do they have psychologists? Motivational coaches? Etc.

ask them what is there opinion on the TWILIGHT saga. since they are starting the trend of "a film a year" just like harry potter 1 and 2 did? ask them if they would also like to work together in the future
  • Ask them how the filming of the Half-Blood Prince tested their capabilities as actors. Did their talent grow? Was it all encouraging? Discouraging? And like Ty15 mentioned, ask them what other opportunities in the industry they plan on pursuing after the Potter films.
  • The Amazing Nocerino
I'd ask them to stop making crap....
