Looks like an awesome movie. Rorschach is the best. Mindless violence. Some costumes do remind me of Batman and such but they are awesome. The graphic novel was great too! Cant wait to see the movie!

I have to say the Ozymandias outfit is okay because it reflects Greek (Classic) sculptural realism, something that I think he would Ozzy would follow with. The Nite Owl outfit is a little too much like Batman. I would have rather seen him in some more like the graphic novel, or at least more like an owl. Bruce Campbell would have made an interesting Comedian, but the casting choice is fine and Morgan has looked good for the part so far.

They all look great. In the trailer before The Dark Knight showing, they all seemed very representative of the original Watchmen series. Even though Nite-Owl is a pastiche of Blue Beetle, I always thought of him as a different take on Batman, so any slight similarities there aren’t a bad thing.

I have to disagree with the casting of Rorschach being easy. There is a section of the story in which he will have no mask and the appearance of his face at that point is crucial to the impact of the plot. Saying that, I think with the apporpriate makeup Jackie Earl’s face fits the bill. When reading the comic I always thought Rorschach looked tall and graceful in his raincoat and fedora. The Rorschach in that photo is too stunted and his head looks too big! Maybe I’m being overly critical, but I’ve always been a fan of Rorschach and I want to see him done perfectly. I thought his character was a large contributing factor to the appeal of the comic. His appearance is an important aspect of his character and it’s vital that they get it spot on.

You bring up a lot of good points, though. The suits are decent – a little updated from what the comic portrays. I don’t have any problem with Ozy because he’s rich and an egotist.

But everyone else looks way too slick. The beauty of the comic was that it was just normal people deciding to fight crime. They were losers, crazy people with delusions of grandeur – where would they have access to all that spandex and hardened rubber?

Comedian looks like he just hopped off his chopper in Nam – excellent. Ozy looks like the pretty boy who likes playing the part – also excellent.

Night Owl looks ridiculous and Spectre, although totally hot, looks too polished.

I think my problem is that they look like real superheros, not just people who decided to fight crime one day.

Spectre is smoking. Superb.

Rest are fine, Ozy looks camp.

Woah. Looks very, very, very good! I loved “Watchmen” and I really can’t wait for this one – Snyder looks like a guy with a plan, a guy that’s got it all figured out. Can’t wait for the trailer!

I like the costumes too. The trailer I saw was a bit bizarre but looked really good. The Comedian is a bad ass and fucking crazy. Hell yeah!

I think these costumes look awesome. Comedian is amazing. Silk Spectre is soooooooo hot. NICE. I dont mind the others. They look pretty representative of the comics. I think I remember Ozymandias nipples in the comic, so maybe thats why. I definitely remember Dr. Manhattan’s blue ass and balls.
