WGA Strike, Transformers to the Rescue?
Movie News By Brian C. Gibson on November 13, 2007 | (3) Comments
The WGA Strike may be slowing Hollywood and some of our favorite TV shows down, but Optimus Prime and Megan Fox heal all pain. Variety has reported that, “Transformers 2 is far enough along to proceed with pre-production, location scouting and advance VFX work, but will face serious issues if the strike continues for several months. Michael Bay’s megabudget sequel isn’t set to start filming until June.” If anything can fix this, a really hot picture of Megan Fox would probably be the remedy.
With the filming of the sequel to this year’s biggest film in jeopardy, we might see some type of push on the WGA strike. One thing that the WGA strike won’t be able to stop though, is the rumors that are sure to surround the project and its filming. Peter Sciretta says that “Bay claims that DreamWorks is prepared to leak misinformation onto the internet to prevent or obscure potential real leaks.” So beware if you hear about My Big Fat Transforming Wedding.
