WGA OK’s Grammy Show

Today, January 28th, the Writers Guild announced its interim agreement with producers of the Grammy Awards show.

The deal is believed to be based on interim agreements reached by David Letterman’s Worldwide Pants, and others, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Material for the show will be written under a WGA contract, “in effect giving the Union’s blessing to the awards show despite the 3-month-old writers strike.”

This will be a timely gift from the writers to the Grammys on their 50th anniversary.
