Wes Anderson and The Fantastic Mr. Fox?

Posted by Zachary Payne (zachary@filmschoolrejects.com) on January 1, 2007

Wes Anderson is once again exploring the creative side of film, with his increasing interest in stop-animation (as seen in his recent film The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou). Anderson takes us into the children’s novel The Fantastic Mr. Fox written by Roald Dahl. The film (in pre-production) is set to release mid 2008 from Fox Animation.

Anderson is more than likely going to be casting his usual line up, but Anjelica Huston and Jason Schwartzman are in the talks.
