We Want to Know: What Are You Watching on Halloween?
Discussion By Neil Miller on October 31, 2009 | (29) Comments
The Halloween holiday is many things to many people. For some, it is the opportunity to have fun making costumes for their kids and take the little ones out for a sugar-rush inducing night around the neighborhood. I will never forget my own mom’s excitement when she got to make me a Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man costume from scratch when I was in the fourth grade. For others, Halloween is about dressing up as something sexy, alluring or creative and hitting up the hottest spots in town to see how many sexy cats and naughty nurses show up to get drunk. And for many, no matter where you fall, Halloween is a day to watch scary movies.
That’s where we come in. We’ve been laying down suggestions in our 31 Days of Horror feature all month long, concluding this morning with Robert Fure’s final entry, Splinter. And while we’ve compiled an awesome list, I personally feel as if we missed a few real Halloween treats — stuff like Earnest Scared Stupid, The Nightmare Before Christmas and It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. Sure, those aren’t horror, but they’re definitely on my playlist for this evening. Which leads me to the task at hand — while we here at Reject HQ head out to our local Best Buy to pick up some additional appropriately-themed flicks, we’d like to know what you are watching.
So please tell us below: what are you watching on Halloween?
