Watchmen Video Journal: Creating Dr. Manhattan
Behind the Scenes By Neil Miller on October 9, 2008 | (8) Comments
It is possible that we write too much about Watchmen. Then again, maybe we don’t write about Watchmen enough. Either way, you’d have to be living underneath some sort of large stone in order to be completely unaware of the Watchmen film that Warner Bros. will be thrusting into theaters on March 6, 2009. As well, if you are a committed movie news follower, then you may also be aware of these Watchmen video journals that have been popping up once a month. This month’s journal takes a look at the creation of one of Watchmen’s most iconic characters, Dr. Manhattan. In the video below, you will see how actor Billy Crudup went from ordinary guy to the distant cousin of the Blue Man group, all with the help of some new age special effects. Have a look for yourself below.
Watchmen hits theaters on March 6, 2009.
