Watch This: Very Cool Iron Man 2 Interactive Trailer
Movie News By Neil Miller on April 12, 2010 | (2) Comments
As the release of Iron Man 2 closes in, it feels a bit subdued compared to the release of the first film in 2008. With the first film, the run up to the release brought truck-loads of digital assets. And when pieced together, it was as if you could have seen two-thirds of the film prior to actually sitting down to watch it. With Iron Man 2, Paramount and Marvel appear to be holding back quite a bit of the film. And even though this new (and very cool) interactive trailer has new footage, it doesn’t appear to be footage from sequences that we haven’t seen before. Either way, it still looks very cool.
The most interesting part of this trailer is the interactivity. Hot spots within the trailer are identified and you can click on them to find out more about the many pivotal characters within the world of Iron Man 2, including Justin Hammer (Sam Rockwell), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), among others. It’s all very 21st century. Have a look for yourself below.
