The first image is just a still of the first shot where you see the Joker. Its during the opening sequence, before the van pulls up to take him to the bank.

To say anything great abt TDK at this time is almost superfluous. It is a magnificent feat of filmaking through and through..and if the Academy is willing to overlook it, thats their loss.

p.s whatever happened to that scene at 3:35 – 3:54? it wasnt in the movie, nor are there any deleted scenes on TDK dvd…

I think they were just publicity photos. They were some of the earlier ones that came out long before the movie came out. But I could be wrong.

Just watched Wall/E last night and the soundtrack to that may be the most amazing thing I've ever heard….. My prediction: loads of sound awards for that film. TDK is going to be left out in the cold in a lot of categories this year.
