DeathlyHallowsHeader

Late last week, a reader emailed me a link to a poorly-shot pirated look at the new Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallow – Part 1 footage that will be seen on the DVD release of Half Blood Prince. At the time, it wasn’t worth posting, as the quality was terrible and the footage was incomplete. Over the weekend, someone posted a much better version to MetaCafe, leaving me no choice.

Below you will find the 56-second featurette, which includes an introduction from producer David Heyman and director David Yates, both of whom are clearly honored to be working on Potter. Chances are that you’ll be able to pick out a few choice moments from the final J.K. Rowling book, which will be broken into two films. Have at it below.

I loved Harry Potter movies as they were really ;different'. but now they seem to loose all their 'magic' and become same like any other Hollywood movie - love 'n' kisses.

I'm as excited as any reasonable Potter-nerd. But is it just me, or does David Heyman always seem like such a douche when he's being interviewed?
  • Finally!! I can't wait, this is awesome!
  • I can't wait to see this! I love the movies, and know this is gonna be epic. I wish it wasn't split into 2 parts but it'll be alright.

Can't wait to see how it ends.

lol....I think the title should say "...Deathly Hallows Part 1" It was funny when I saw the two dates at the end for Part 1 and Part 2. Seems like they are promoting both the films at the same time although we can only watch one for now. I wonder how they will promote the second part by itself. Its weird because Harry Potter has 7 parts and now two parts for the 7th part.
So when the part 2 of Deathly Hallows releases they should call it Harry Potter 7 - part 2 or maybe 7.5 :-P

I have watched all HP movies in theaters so far including the recent ones in IMAX and I lost interest in the HP franchise now as they seem to be getting worse after every movie. Anyways, I will still end up watching the movies (two parts) in theaters but definitely not on the first weekend as I hate standing in the line to watch movies that might not be so great based on previous experiences.
  • Wow the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Preview was awesome. The animation is too good thanks for providing the links.
