Watch This: First Trailer for Mike Judge’s Extract

Mike Judge has some skills. He also has a comedic style that is all his own. In my mind, sometimes it works perfectly (Office Space, Beavis and Butt-Head, etc.) and sometimes it is a little off the mark (Idiocracy). Either way, I can’t contend with the fact that a team-up between Mike Judge and Jason Bateman, combined with supporting work from SNL’s Kristen Wiig and a long-haired Ben Affleck, has the potential for some comedic gold. As in, you can take this new trailer for his upcoming movie Extract to the bank and cash in some laughs.
The film also stars Mila Kunis (That 70’s Show, Max Payne) looking hot and the always funny J.K. Simmons doing exactly what he does best, being confused. It follows the epic struggle of the owner of a flower-extract plant (Bateman) to keep his personal and professional lives in check. Not helping is the fact that his employees are bad, his factory is prone to accident (as is excruciatingly shown in the trailer) and his wife has a pair of sweatpants that are like post-marriage chastity belt.
