Watch This: District 9 Trailer Uncensored

Just last week our own Rob Hunter declared that the first trailer for the mysterious upcoming sci-fi film District 9 promised some sci-fi greatness. Wait until he sees this version.

A new version of the trailer has popped up via IMDB that has removed the censoring employed during the alien interrogation scene. Now not only can we see the creatures face, but we also get a subtitled look at what he (or it) is saying. And its answers might surprise you a bit. Check it out below.

Hmm… I smell a little government conspiracy action.

District 9 is directed by Neill Blomkamp and produced by Peter Jackson. It hits theaters on August 14, 2009.

I hate the interactive ads!!!!! Everytime I play a trailer, I have stupid limeaway in the background!!! Tell CRAVE to get rid of that crap!

I smell what they're cooking and it smells delicious. Trailer was a little sad. Poor alien. Looks awesome though.

Wow, I was already excited, but seeing this definitely ramped it up a few hundred notches. Love the direction it seems to be going.

This movie looks amazing.
Really good effects.
Interesting twist with the alien too, changes up the entire feel of the movie.
Badass alien too.

Looks awesome. We need more good sci fi films.

I hope this is more of a drama of political nature, other than just another sci-fi movie. I would love to see a concept like that taken on with today's films.
