I was interested to see how the short film would translate into a movie, but this clip has left me unimpressed. The first thing that stood out was how much more colorful, high-key, and less gritty it was– probably to attract the younger audience. The monster design was cool, but come on, the clip shows the romantic interest being kidnapped. It seems like the chilling feeling the short film left me with won't be anywhere near the movie.
