A few months back we showed you the gorgeous first trailer for Shane Acker’s 9, a post-apocalyptic animated adventure that tells the story of a doll-esque little guy named 9 who is tasked with saving the world. As we told you before, the film looks really amazing, as did the original short film of the same name from Acker.

You can see a brand new clip from the film called “Under Attack,” courtesy of MTV (where it can also be seen in High Definition), below. 9 is in theaters on September 9, 2009 and will feature the voices of Elijah Wood, John C. Reilly, Jennifer Connelly, Crispin Glover, Martin Landau and Christopher Plummer.
