Wanted’s Website Supports its Hardcore Image
First Look By Neil Miller on May 23, 2008 | Be the First To CommentEarlier today I showed you the brand new international Wanted trailer, which spared no amount of badassery, despite being in Russian. Later in the afternoon Universal Pictures dropped word via the magic FSR hotline that the film’s new official website has launched. Those of you who have been reading the site consistently will understand when I say that I just had to check it out, as this film is on the verge of giving me anxiety attacks.
Upon strolling over to WantedMovie.com, I was greated by some heavy rock music and a plethora of cool features. There is still a lot of stuff with the always annoying “Coming Soon” label on it, but for the most part the site is already fleshed out quite well with videos, images and cool downloadable. Most notable of these downloadables is a sexy desktop wallpaper of Angelina Jolie as Fox, a deadly assassin with some wicked ink. I am showing you a little sliver of it above. In order to find it, all you have to do is check out the Fox Dossier on the site, there you can download this killer wallpaper. It is off the beaten path a bit, but worth the searching.
It isn’t often that I am so impressed by a movie website, but then again, it isn’t often that I am this excited about a movie. Some call me a cynic, but I would brand myself a cautious optimist. When it comes to Wanted though, I am all giddy like a little kid.
All the fun kicks into high gear when Wanted hits theaters on June 27th.
