For me, this film will rest entirely on the quality of the screenplay. If it's as good as Wall Street 1, than this film will be a delight from start to finish. The preview doesn't fill my heart with glee because I'm not inspired by any of the dialogue, with the exception that "greed is legal."

I'm OK with Shia but somehow, I doubt he will carry this film, that's why Michael Douglas's performance is so critical. After all, he won the academy award for the first film and it's because his character was so richly portrayed by Mr. Douglas and it is so memorable.

I sure hope Oliver doesn't fill his script with cliches. If it's a sharply penned script, then the actors will do their part to deliver the film with greatness. We shall see.

I'd like to see a movie in which ol' Gordon Gekko pulls off a Bernie Madoff-type scheme. Now there's a guy we'd all love to hate! Shia LaBeouf has been good in everything I've seen him in. He'll do a nice job I'm sure, but the real star of this story will be Oliver Stone. I mean that in a good way.
