Video: ‘Sweeney Todd’ Featurette

Our friends over at ComingSoon.net tipped us off to this brand new featurette for Tim Burton’s Sweeney Todd that has been floating around the halls of cyberspace. It is interesting because — as you will see when you watch the clip (originally taken from the CW) — there is still very little to suggest that this is a musical. Alan Rickman and Johnny Depp both equate it to some good, old school horror, but they don’t talk much about the song-and-dance. I wonder if this is intentional on the part of Paramount’s marketing department. Only time will tell, but it leaves me curious nonetheless. Either way, enjoy the clip below.

Sweeney Todd hits theaters on December 21. It stars Johnny Depp, Helena Bohnam Carter, Sacha Baron Cohen and Alan Rickman.
