You're right. Looks like SIN CITY. SIN CITY was great. But we really don't need another one. As far as I'm concerned, we didn't even need 300. And if I were advising everyone involved, I'd tell them to drop all of these plans for a SIN CITY 2. We just don't need any more of this stuff.

this sucks. BIG TIME! you mentioned this movie looks and has the feel of sin city? true. but it also looks extremely sleazy, cheesy, unfunny, and downright wrong! stupid movie looks more like a comedy than a comic book adaptation....since when did frank miller make the jump from awesome writer to delusional director?!

Wow... Okay.
We've known for a long time that Miller has lost all contact with reality, but I can't believe he's so lacking in self-awareness that he can't see what an enormous disservice he's doing to the legacy of Eisner's work.

I can't wait for Miller's film versions of Eisner's "A Contract with God", as well as the work of other popular authors... "Blankets", "Lost Girls", "The Sandman", "Maus", "Jimmy Corrigan", "... ugh.

I agree. Between this and Miller's current Batman book, I cannot stand this guy anymore.
It's funny how intense he comes off in interviews and yet his art and writing has gotten
progressively more lazy.
