Vamping: Paris, Lindsay, Jacko and more…

Paris Hilton, referred to by Page Six as the “heir-head,” will end up serving only 23 days of her 45 day sentence for alcohol-related reckless driving (an apparent reduction from DUI), and it will be in a “special needs housing unit.” The accommodations are for public officials and celebrities. The show begins June 5th.
Lindsay Lohan will not, repeat not, be charged with theft. She was probably only studying to play the lead in case anyone ever made a biopic about Winona Ryder.
Michael Jackson obtained a temporary restraining order to stop the Vegas auction of some of his former memorabilia including Jacko’s black fedora, sunglasses, and an abundance of portraits of naked boys, says the NYPost. Flash update — a mere one day later finds Michael in a different mindset as he withdraws his complaint explaining that he made a private deal with the owner of his memorabilia.
Female Ellen DeGeneres’s ex, Ann Heche, is being accused of non-compos mentis by her male almost-ex husband. He claims she’s unbalanced. One of the reasons given is that she packs lunches for their five-year-old son that he doesn’t like. We trust that’s the least of it.
If she’s unbalanced enough, she could end up with Rosie.
Kiefer Sutherland will be Jack Bauer for another two seasons. What a relief to know that someone like Bauer is watching out for terrorists, since Washington isn’t. That pathetic fence they’re putting up with a billion or two of taxpayer money couldn’t keep a mosquito out, let alone a bunch of illegals in a yellow Hummer.
That’s enough gossip. Film School Rejects is not TMZ — we learned from today’s Hollywood Reporter (May 18) that an announcement was made in Cannes stating Robert De Niro and Al Pacino are at last going to star together in an indie movie.
“Righteous Men” an independently financed feature to be directed by Jon Avnet and written by Russell Gerwitz, is the story of a pair of New York detectives on the hunt for a serial killer. “Righteous Men” marks Pacino and De Niro’s first appearance together since their single two-shot scene in “Heat” filmed at the Wilshire Boulevard restaurant “Kate Mantilini’s.” We hear they will appear together this time in almost the entire film. 90 per cent is what they say.
Th… th… that’s all folks.
