U3 was a waste of time, if not actually 'bad'. It's a hopeful sign that they have a name writer for U4…I'd probably see an Underworld movie that had a good story, even if Kate B. wasn't involved. As it is, there are too many bad movies being made for great big bucks for effects and name actors that are ruined by crap writing and uninteresting plots…

I didn't hate the third movie, kinda liked it. I never expected KB to come back for the prequal, since all that took place before her character was born or turned into a vampire. I mean ever since the first film, I had been wanting to see that start of it all. As for any more films, I'm weery about it.

Well all of the other Vampires didn't die when the second movie ended so there is still a lot of room for good stories to be crafted.

You know, I actually liked the third movie. Sheen was good, Nighy was awesome (as always) and Rhona Mitra doesn't look particularly bad in leather. But you guys are right, it didn't have the same exact punch as the first two with Beckinsale.

That said, I'm not sure where they could even go from here — without extending the prequel or getting Kate back, there really isn't much story left, is there?
