So this tells the story that was revealed in the directors cut of Underworld. They removed all the scenes above the Vamp/Lycan love affair and in effects changed the entire story of the movie.

In the DC you find the Vampires are really the bad guys but the theatrical release plays out the other way and you think Lucien is the bad guy.

IMO the uncut version of the first movie is the way to go. I have it on DVD which was only sold at Walmart. I wish they would also put it out on Blu-Ray cause its just 100x better than what they ended up releasing.

I’ve certainly enjoyed the first two films. (Though the second was not a film that I would watch a second time. I didn’t feel ripped off or cheated in anyway, just that it was a decent distraction and nothing more.)

I’m rather looking forward to this breaking up the January duldrums. As for all the fighting, from my one viewing of the trailer, it all looks as if the fights are pulled from the same “climatic” battle.

I’d be curious to know what the budget for this film is? If the budget is tiny, I wouldn’t expect a lot of spectacular fights.

Yeah Sonja went blonde later cause it wasnt too much fun just being a vampire. I was kinda thinking this would be lame after I heard that a nude Beckinsale wouldnt be in this, but it looks pretty good.

I had no clue that the guy who played Lucian and the guy that played Tony Blair in The Queen were the same person until just now. My respect for Michael Sheen as an actor just went up tremendously. What a wide spectrum of characters this guy can play.
