Two New Terminator Salvation Images Expose a New Terminator

Terminator Salvation

It’s been a slow news day, I know. But thankfully our friend Christopher M. has been digging around for all sorts of cool stuff. Even better, he saw fit to send it over to us so that we might share it with all of you. This round includes two new images from the upcoming actioner Terminator Salvation, from director McG. The first photo below features Christian Bale as John Connor, inspecting what appears to be the tail and/or arm of a machine warrior. It looks very similar to the Scorpinok tail that was captured by the military in Transformers, does it not? The second photo is a generic soldier walking toward the wreckage of a plane. If I had to take a guess, I’d say that the machines were somehow involved in the demise of the plane. Both photos are relatively ambiguous, I know. But what can I say, it’s the week of Christmas. This is the best we’ve got.

Terminator Salvation hits theaters on May 22, 2009.

Note: You may recognize the Terminator above from the concept art that was leaked a while back, seen below. I’m told by some of my inside source ninjas that this is one of the cool new Terminator models that can attack through the air or the water. It is akin to the crazy squid things from The Matrix. Pretty cool, eh?

just saw latest trailor. it looked pretty good though i hope its not transformers with john conner. also this isnt the future my mother warned me about and something has changed worries me a little. that leaves room for changes that maybe shouldnt be made. still cant wait to see it cause i love all things terminator. yeah even the tv show.

No, that Hydrobot is really not cool. Expecially if it flies like those retarded Matrix squids.

Well it does say in the trailer "this is not the future my mother warned me about" "something has changed" so that can pretty much explain the advancement of technology and the higher tech funky Terminators.
  • I wonder if this movie is set before John sends his dad back the first time, or after all that has occurred. If so, the Terminators cannot as high tech as in part 2 and 3.

Oh ok! I haven't seen the trailer in detail. Thanks Arc!

G-d are these Hollywood retards that out of touch, I don't want to see transformers in a Terminator film. Skynet would have advanced what designs it had from the SAC Norad airforce files to which it had access, which means no GO-GO Gadget transformers.
  • Yes it is. Because as wierd as it sounds, this is a prequal to the first Terminator. can't remember were I heard it, but it is defiantly set before the firts film, in a matter of speaking.

I agree that some of this looks dumb, but I am powerless against seeing it. The big draw for me is Bale, It's like Bruce Wayne's more bad-ass relavtive. His acting is really remarkable. I'd love to know where he studied. A good acting school is worth it’s weight in gold. The key is to find one that caters to your individual needs. Not only do you need the basic tools for auditioning, scene study and the like, but you need a curriculum that works with whatever your schedule may be. Whether you work all day, go to high school or care for your kids, not everyone can study in the traditional way. Another acting program that works this way is Film Connection. http://www.film-connection.com/Acting.htmlThe Film Connection’s acting program is affiliated with Joe Anthony studios and fetures valuable one-on-one mentoring. They are also available to anyone living in the United States and have financial aid assistance.
  • Even if things have changed in the future, if this is a prequel to the first movie, there is no way the Terminators are extremely more advanced than the first Terminator.
