Two New Posters Display Max Payne’s Great Sadness

Posted by Neil Miller (neil@filmschoolrejects.com) on August 21, 2008

Right here is normally where I would bust out an Emo joke and point out that the character on the following posters is just hamming it up in a depressive manner to make us connect with him on some emotional level. Then I remembered that Max Payne is a badass and the movie actually looks pretty cool, so my desire to poke fun dwindled quickly. But I digress. Below you will find two brand new international posters for the upcoming video game adaptation Max Payne, which stars Mark Wahlberg in the title role.

well the poster look good, mark wahlberg is a good actor... just wait until the movie come out first... for sure they must have a bullet time

No, this movie might actually do it. They're capturing the mood perfectly. Wahlberg doesn't sound anything like he did in the Happening - he actually sounds the part. He kinda looks it too. Now, we need to see if the sounds and the actions flow correctly. Judging by the trailer, I think it might.

BTW, Wiki has the movie clocked at I think 125 minutes. Can anybody back that up

I have seen the trailer, they are mixed around with his hell-burnt crazed revenge part a bit. I was hooked on the game when i was twelve..lol.

But the movie, does look really good, they got this movie in the bag!!
