
Two Badass New Transformers 2 TV Spots, One New Clip

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is coming. Seriously, it will be here in mere weeks and the excitement is off the charts here in my chair. As you know, I’m the Michael Bay fan to end all Michael Bay fans — even going as far as to defend Mr. Bay’s work to anyone who will hold still for more than 3 minutes at a time.
And as the sequel’s release date draws near, Paramount has begun releasing an onslaught of new clips and TV spots. Many of these new clips don’t show much more than an additional split second, but sometimes we get a real winner. Such is the case with this first clip, which shows off Optimus Prime shooting a rocket. A rocket, I tell you. Have a look for yourself below:
Next up is another rather intense TV spot that shows off more of Optimus Prime looking like a badass (double sword action). Does anyone remember when I observed after the first trailer was released that Optimus is always seen getting his ass kicked? Looks like someone over in the Paramount marketing offices got my memo. Now if only they’d get that one about the Iron Man 2 set visit. Alas, here’s the second spot:
And finally, Megan Fox fights a foul-mouthed little Decepticon called Wheelie:
