Titanic is another story and another time. I knew grown men who went like five times to see that film. Titanic was one of the few films I've seen twice in the movie theater, only because I took my friend to see it for her birthday after I saw it with my mother. I was a teen then and all the teens I knew who went to see it, saw it once. It was the grown ups that went back three to four times. Titanic had better actors, direction, production, script, you name it. I almost forgive the craze. Plus, it did make less money opening weekend and ya it stayed number 1 for a long time but is was a slow start. Movie tickets were way less expensive then, it was like 12 years ago. Movie going was way different in 1997. The Twilight craze is way, way different.

Well, at least it'll never be as great as the Dark Night. I wonder how this film will do in week 2. Will all the people who were running over themselves to see it on opening day came back for repeat viewings? Will crazed tween girls be able to get there parents to pay for multiple viewings?
