If anyone remembers, VICTORIA (Enemy Vampire) was played by Rachelle Lefevre and is now someone else, Bryce Dallas Howard (Lady In The Water, Spider-Man 3, Terminator Salvation) who is now capturing the roll of Victoria.

I've always like original cast members from movies (similar to Iron Man's "Rhodey" played by Terrence Howard, now played by Don Cheadle) , and once again here is another sequel that has done that very same thing. Chemistry is EVERYTHING!

I feel that this franchise is morphing into another Cable TV Vampire Show, gone really bad. And is now going straight to video.

"Steamy" is not what guys as fans will be looking forward to, and again I strongly believe THIS sequel will not do as well as "New Moon" (I didn't care too much for New Moon either).

SPOILER ALERT !!! (from the books Bella gets pregnant. GOD help us all if they push with "Breaking Dawn."

i have totally failed to see the damn trailer…it keeps telling me error or wateva.dont know wats wrong with this damn computer…oh well the comments are pretty hilarious. was really excited when i heard david slade was directing but that bit about richardson editing totally inflated my hardon for the movie.nothing that taylor wont fix…he is so hot.

Boy, have I read some really stupid comments. Not just on this site but many others. Some of the comments are just plain dumb. READ THE FREAKIN BOOKS. Some person on another site mentioned(referring to scene in eclipse trailer) that the Volturi were upset over Bella and Edward's consideration of marriage, which is totally not true. That scene in the trailer had nothing to do with their proposed marriage. Someone made a comment about college not being important to Bella. Both Bella and Edward applied to a number of colleges and it is mentioned a number of times in the book eclipse. Edward is supposed to be brooding the majority of the time, bella is suppose to be the way she is. Jacob's body temperature is higher than normal which is why he often has his shirt off. Also, he loses his clothing when he shapes shifts into wolf form. We all know, and I am quite sure that the twilight fans know that the books are fantasy and once and a while people like to escape a little bit. I don't think anyone expected the series to become nominated for the Oscars. Personally, I don't feel that the movies have done the books justice and frankly some of things in the book would be very difficult to capture on the big screen. I give all involved credit for trying to bring the story to life on screen. Why can't people accept the series for what it is(fantasy, fun, romance, entertainment). All of these critics just amaze me. The majority of the actors in the series are very young and just getting started and are bound to make mistakes along the way. It would be nice to hear a little encouragement for these young people who are trying to find their way. Way to go, just tear down their self-esteem. If you don't like the series, why not move on to something else.

I was hoping for a good fight (though I never believed we'd get a really bloody one) and a little less mush but when Summit replaced Slade's usual editor, Art Jones, with Nancy Richards (Twilight editor) it got crushed. "The studio has more confidence in Richardson, who they say understands the emotion of the characters and is an ace at balancing action with the other elements of the film." The editing in Twilight was horrible (e.g. see the final fight scene, the confrontation in the baseball field, every choice of shots with Stewart's performance) and I don't think Slade had any choice but to accept the change. I've seen both Twilight and New Moon but was really disappointed. The trailer for Eclipse doesn't show much but at least it looks like there's nice cinematography and possibly better action editing, if they won't have Richardson re-edit the whole thing.

Yes. Victoria was recast when Rachelle Lefevre became unavailable to appear in Eclipse due to “scheduling issues.” The new Victoria is Bryce Dallas Howard.

David Slade Great Director…. But Twilight cast…(Ho Hum). I'm sure the Twi-hards are gonna go ” Oh My GAWD I can't wait for this movie” Seriously when will Hollywood put people with Talent to play roles such as these… I 'm sick of Beefcake 1 and Shirtless jackass and Emotionless Actress draining the energy. Please let this Franchise end soon so I can go on with out watching T.V. and seeing thnext Twilight commercial. ugh

David Slade should mix in the violence and grittiness of '30 Days of Night' with the adult themes of 'Hard Candy'. Not only would it make it watchable but the look on a tweens face when somebody gets ripped in half would be priceless…

It's not romantic it's boring…zzzzz….any energy I had after the night's sleep was sucked away by the suckage of this trailer. It's terrible and my hopes have been dashed with this first trailer. Perhaps the second one will give something better? I know. Too much to ask. Ah well.
