‘Twilight’ B-Roll Footage Provides Fifteen Minutes of Pearl Twirling

Twilight

If you’re like me, then you can barely contain yourself as we enter the final two weeks before Twilight is unleashed into theaters.  Two weeks until we can gaze upon Edward’s smoldering visage and sink our teeth into Bella’s whispering eye.  But also like me, you may be a habitual liar prone to sarcasm, innuendo, and poorly handled Cole Abaius impersonations.

For those of you looking forward to Twilight, Trailer Addict has posted fifteen minutes of B-Roll footage that includes several dialogue snippets as well as some stunt work.  Watch imaginary baseball!  See a vampire play the piano!  Witness Bella be a passive bystander in every scene!  Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, director Catherine Hardwicke, Taylor Lautner, and a topless Cam Gigandet all make appearances.  Dreamy.  As a word of warning to those hoping to avoid spoilers, the footage does seems to cover the entire movie from beginning to end.

At the very least, the footage is interesting from a purely technical standpoint.  Seeing how they shoot moving car interiors, fight scenes, vampire fast-walking, and more is always fun, and provides cool insight into how movies are made.  Some of the dialogue continues to inspire the giggles though.

Twilight hits theaters November 21st.

What do you think of the footage?  Is that Edward’s ass crack at the 1:10 mark?

Twilight movie marketing is now in overload. I cannot watch anything on TV without seeing mention of the movie or a TV spot during a commerical break. At first there was nothing and now it's nearly overkill. I had a laugh this morning when I heard off handed speculation of a 100mil opening. I don't care how good the advanced ticket sales are that's just plain crazy talk.

I know this movie will be disapointing, what with all the bad acting and screwed up parts of the book. But just the same, I will see it. Darn my weak willpower!
