Tropic Thunder

Paramount Pictures has released their official Summer Movie Preview today, which includes a few new photos from some highly anticipated films. We will, of course, be running you through all of the imagery throughout the day (including new looks at Iron Man, Indiana Jones and Kung Fu Panda), but we’ve decided to start with a few new shots from the upcoming Ben Stiller-directed comedy Tropic Thunder.

As you will remember, this is the movie that has Robert Downey Jr with his skin dyed black, Ben Stiller as an over-the-top action hero and Jack Black as a comedian famous for playing multiple roles in his movies. Based on the first teaser trailer that we saw back in mid-March, this one looks awesome. Stiller has always been a very capable director and this cast looks great. And what could be better than actors making light of acting egos? I’m not sure, but for the time being, this movie would top that list. It is also near the top of my own personal “Most Anticipated Movies of Summer” list.

Check out the new images from Tropic Thunder below. Click to see the absolutely gigantic versions.
