Transporter 3 Trailer Gives You 5 Seconds to Be Excited
First Look By Neil Miller on October 11, 2008 | (8) Comments
Nothing says adrenaline-filled like Jason Statham as Frank Martin, driving fast and kicking the hell out of groups of bad guys at a time. And there is only one action franchise where Statham suits up in Armani and rides around as Frank Martin, The Transporter. On November 26, Lionsgate is bringing Frank Martin in Transporter 3, the third in a series of films that have been extremely profitable and extremely well-received by fans. Earlier this evening, the folks at Lionsgate dropped a brand new domestic trailer in my mailbox, one that I will now share with you below.
I don’t know about all of you, but they could continue to make new Transporter films every few years until the end of Jason Statham’s acting lifespan and I would happily make the trip to the cineplex. The combination of unbridled kung-fuy action combined with wicked chase sequences always work. As you may remember, this is the franchise that put director Louis Leterrier on the map, allowing him to move his quick-camera work on to a much bigger franchise, and deliver one of the summer’s biggest superhero surprises in The Incredible Hulk. With this film, Leterrier has handed the reigns off to Olivier Megaton — and with a name like that, we should be in for a treat.
What do you think of the new Transporter 3 trailer? Will you be checking out this film when it hits theaters this winter?
