Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

As many have said, you can’t believe everything you see on TV. The same can be said for the internet, upon which rumors, hearsay and diversions generally run a muck. Along those lines, we got a note from FSR faithful super-ninja Tom K. late this evening of a possible picture of a possible Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen poster that has possibly begun circulating around the web. It looks like it could be pretty cool, if it were (a) real and (b) in focus. At this point, I would prefer in focus, but for now this will have to do:

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is due out in theaters on June 26, 2009. It is currently filming in Pennsylvania.

Do you think this poster is real, or is it just another fake in the long-standing internet tradition of fakery?

It looks pretty hokey to me... Kinda like a "Power Rangers" film. That doesn't look like a robot head, it looks like a man in a mask.

Having not seen the previous live action film, but all of the original cartoon series, I can't say if that is one of the characters from the previous live action film. If it is, then it is probably just a still from that film.

It MIGHT be one of the "possible" posters, as a mock up, that they are looking at, but who knows.
