Jazz to return to Transformers 2?

As production moves along on the new installment of the Transformers franchise, more and more news finds its way to us. Now, Michael (AWESOME) Bay has talked about a disinformation campaign, but news broke recently that your favorite “ethnic” Transformer, Jazz, will make his triumphant return to the screen as a Pontiac Solstice once again. For those of you who forgot, Jazz was the hip-hop robot who was torn in half by Megatron. No worries though, as they have found a way to bring him back, possibly through downloading or something of that nature.

Also on the Transformers front, a few set pics have surfaced from Bethlehem Pennsylvania, at a steel plant that is doubling as China. In the photos we can see a modified Chevy Malibu mocked up as a Chinese Police Car. Whether or not this will turn out to be a transforming robot ass-kicker has yet to be seen, though eagle eyed viewers will remember that Barricade, a Mustang Police Vehicle, went missing at the end of the first film.
